workshop is designed to prepare students for an in-studio production using
SPTVís main studio. Students get aquatinted with the use of various
studio equipment such as switchers, audio mixers, character generators,
cameras, microphones, set design, lighting console, intercom and IFB
systems, as well as non-technical crew roles such as floor management,
directing, producing, and talent. This workshop also provides the students
with the necessary teamwork "tools," so students can learn how
to work within a crew and behave in a professional manner.
This workshop teaches students remote operation production using SPTVís
portable video equipment to obtain footage and using editing facilities to
produce a fully realized television program. In this workshop students are
introduced to the with the main aspects of production including
pre-production, production and post-production.
